October's Fairy

Dear Bluebird Friends,

Art Hop is such a wonderful time in the South End Arts District of Burlington, Vermont. Bluebird Fairies were born out of this wonderful event, so returning to Art Hop always feels like a reunion with the creative energy that first sparked what we do. It was a joy to reconnect with old friends and meet so many new ones! Thank you all!!!

And now, here we are in October — a month of transitions. This year, that sense of change feels even more present. With transition comes the need for trust and learning to be okay with uncertainty. One thing that always helps me, and is at the heart of Bluebird Fairies, is keeping our vibrations high by nurturing our positivity. Here’s the fairy that’s helping me stay centered:

This fairy reminds me to feel connected to myself and my own amazingness; the amazingness that lives in us all.

I hope you can tap into that and move forth bringing radiance to yourself and others.

We’ll see you out there.

Love,

Emily and the Bluebird Fairies

P.S. Oh yes, I said I’d include a fairy from years ago. Here it is. It reminds me of how these fairies have helped me move from sadness into hopeful places.

Fairy of Easy Changes

Dear Fairy Friends,

I’m delighted to be writing to you after some time away.

If you’re anything like me, you’re probably embracing a lot of changes—some that you’ve inspired and others that life has brought your way. To help us navigate through these changes, I’ve created a new fairy:

The other day, I stumbled upon some fairies I created 12 years ago, and they brought me so much joy. It wasn't just what they said but also how they looked—drawing with my non-dominant hand was a bit of a challenge back then! I’ll share one of those old favorites with you next time.

Today, I’ve got a new drawing to go along with the Fairy of Easy Changes that I just created, but it has the vibe of one of those older fairies, which makes me feel like it carries even more potent energy. And if your life feels anything like mine these days, you could probably use that energy!

I'm so happy to be back in touch with you. If you can, please stop by our studio during Art Hop—our hours are listed here. I’ll be in touch again soon. Until then, I wish you easy days as you move forward, believing in yourself. You can do this!

All the best,

Emily and the Bluebird Fairies

...and Suddenly You are Doing the Impossible."

Hello Dear Friends of Bluebird Fairies,

I hope this finds you well.

I’m writing to invite you to join the fairies and I.

On Friday my friend Christopher began a journey to Italy to walk from Assisi to Rome. It’s a personal pilgrimage that includes the fairies of Bluebird, ones that were inspired by St. Francis of Assisi which Christopher will share with people and leave in little shrines along his way.

So many things resonated with me as I drew these fairies especially this quote that now lives in this fairy:

How does this quote resonate with your life? With our collective lives? With any part of your/our story that needs this assuredness of fulfillment?

Please employ it with love and care for all.

All the best,

Emily and the Fairies

p.s. Christopher will be sharing the fairies as they participate in his journey. I’ve made a page for them here. If you’re interested in having your own St. Francis Fairy experience, please find them at our shop.

The Year of the Dragon is Here!

Dear Friends of Bluebird Fairies,

Many of you know that I LOVE the Lunar New Year.

Here’s a fairy to support us through this NEW year:

Everything I’ve been reading lately tunes me into the idea that it’s time to cultivate, with care, the dreams we have been growing.

Tomorrow, to honor that, I will plant seeds to watch grow into flowers as I make make concrete steps forward.

What might you do to facilitate the growth of your wishes and dreams? This dragon will assist you, so employ her energy and enjoy the ride.

Sending much love,

Emily and the Bluebird Fairies
